With towels, bedding, pillows, kitchen items, etc., being used and washed often, we inspect various items and replace them as needed in order to provide a clean and comfortable stay for your guests. This cost would be part of the owner’s general upkeep and supply cost.
Yes. Hot tubs are very common with Short-Term rentals in Colorado and increase the nightly rate we charge and absolutely increase occupancy of the home, but they are also labor intensive. For a home that has a hot tub, we would check and balance chemicals after each group, add water, replace the filters as required and empty and re-fill the water every 60 days. We are happy to maintain the hot tub, but this would add additional monthly cost for supplies and labor. From our experience, hot tubs pay for themselves with increased bookings and helps homes stand apart from other STR’s in the area.
